Camp Huaco Springs is one of the largest
and most beautiful campground facilities on the Guadalupe
River. Located at First Crossing bridge on River Road, this
30 acre paradise has something for everyone with over a
mile of riverfront sites.
Our first-come first-serve wilderness tent
camp area runs along the river from Huaco Falls to Slumber
Falls - two of the most popular rapids on the Guadalupe.
There's nothin' like a night under the stars with the rush
of the rapids in the background. Wading ponds made straight
from nature's Huaco Springs have also been created for your
toe-dippin' pleasure! Kids of all ages have fallen in love
with the natural feature we added after the 2002 flood.
Thirty-one tent sites with electric are
located on the waterfront in the Northern most section of
the campground where the river is a tad more tranquil and
the fishin' and swimmin' are great! Trout are stocked by
Trout Unlimited at the campground every year - ya never
know, ya might catch a whopper!
Our second largest river equipment rental
unit is located right smack dab in the middle of the campground.
Huaco Raft is within walking distance of any site on the
property - talk about convenient. Just tell the counter
person what kind of trip you're lookin' for and they'll
do their best to oblige!
Check out the campstore for all your camping
needs including firewood. Heck, they even have some stuff
you don't need but we know you'll want it when you see it!
Rico will be on site too with his River
Road weekend breakfast taco delivery! Keep your eyes peeled
for his golf cart cruising through the campground.
And, we've saved the best for last . .
